Cemetery Road Sidewalks
The design for the sidewalks is complete and has been submitted to Idaho Transportation Department for review and consent so the city can use grant funds. Bidding and construction is anticipated to begin fall 2016
Road Construction - Turning Lanes
Canyon Highway District No. 4 is scheduled to construct turning lanes from west-bound State highway 44 north onto Lansing Lane and Duff Lane before November 2016. Idaho Transportation Department in 2016 is scheduled to construct turning lanes from west-bound State Highway 44 north onto Middleton Road and Hartley Lane.
State Highway 44 Re-Surface Project
Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is scheduled in the summer of 2017 to re-surface State highway 44 between Linder Road, through downtown Star and Middleton, and all the way west to I-84. The project will re-surface the highway, install new thermoplastics at crosswalks, relocate the crosswalk from W. 4th Ave. further to the west to align on the west side of the entry into Piccadilly Park, which is scheduled to be constructed in the summer of 2017.
